Deer Recovery Route Tracking
HuntIQ Trail Maker records your path while tracking a wounded deer and guides you back out of the woods. Designed for bowhunters and firearm hunters who need to track deer recovery routes.
How Trail Maker Works
Trail Maker records your GPS path as you follow a blood trail. It shows where you have already searched, reduces repeated covering of the same ground, and provides a return route toward your starting point. Trail data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded.
When Trail Maker Is Most Useful
- Following a blood trail in thick cover
- Tracking at night or in low light
- Recovering a deer that ran a long distance
- Working a complex trail with multiple turns
- Marking the path before backing out to wait
- Returning to where blood was last found
Works Without Cell Service
Trail Maker uses your device's GPS hardware and does not require an active cell or data connection. It is designed to function in areas with limited or no cell service where deer are often recovered.
Pairs with Blood Tracker and Shot Analyzer
Trail Maker is part of HuntIQ's complete deer recovery toolkit alongside the camera-based Blood Tracker and the Shot Analyzer wait-time guidance.
